Why do we engage in terrible and awful actions?
The answer is not enigmatic.
We possess inherent flaws and tendencies towards negativity.
Without formal instruction, training, conditioning, or the imposition of consequences, our default state is one of negativity and immorality.
To transcend these limitations and achieve personal growth, we must undergo rigorous education, training, and discipline.
These phenomena, including depression, corruption, criminality, addiction, laziness, violence, brutality, anxiety, anger, rape, and war, are not inherently mysterious. Their occurrence can be attributed to our inherent nature and the absence of appropriate mechanisms for self-control and social order.
Forgiveness, too, presents a perplexing concept. Its purpose is primarily to liberate oneself from the burden of past pain and embrace one’s full potential. Or as a follower of Jesus, obedience.
Peace, love, and health, on the other hand, are profound mysteries that transcend rational explanation. When we experience these states, we should express gratitude and appreciation for their transformative power.
